I got an e-mail sent to me the other day telling me to check out "Billing Boss". So I did.
The first thing you see is this video:
The website has all the other info you might need including info on how safe and secure it is. Do you want the whole world being able to see your invoices? You do have to download a PDF though.
Customer Profile.
We also collect Business Information when you create a customer profile or Passport account on some of the Sites, which is required in order to access certain areas of the Sites, purchase support plans and products, to obtain software downloads and certain online support services and to request information from us about our products and services.. This information includes company name and contact information and other information about your company (for example, size, revenue, and number of employees), the products you may have licensed and other non-Sage products you may currently use. We use this information in accordance with this policy to identify you, process your requests and administer your Sage Software account(s).
As a freelance writer, VO guy and other things, this might actually solve my problems.

I did try Billing Boss sometime back but was not really impressed by the application design. Though I would say it is good for individuals and freelancers only. For medium and large scale businesses I generally recommend http://www.invoicera.com/.
